Who the Hell is John Graves?
John Graves was born and raised in Aaron’s Creek, Virginia. He grew up on a working farm, and when he wasn’t riding horses and roping cattle, he loved reading musty, old paperbacks from his grandfather’s library. This was surely where his love of literature was born.
John dropped out of college in the 1990’s to pursue a career as a professional wrestler. After working on the independent scene and traveling all over the world, his wrestling career came to an end due to a devastating solar plexus injury. Looking for a new outlet for his creativity and needing to make some money, John spent a few years in Nashville trying to break into the country music industry, but he wasn’t very good and eventually they ran him out of town on a rail.
Finally, after hitting rock bottom and spending a night in a jail in Starkville, Mississippi, John Graves decided to get right with Jesus, get back on the horse, and try his hand as a writer/podcaster.
He lives in a wigwam on his half-brother’s dairy farm. In Amissville, Virginia, he’s known as Mr. Literary Outlaw.
Who the Hell is Kevin G. Summers?
Kevin G. Summers is our resident book designer and founder of LiteraryOutlawLLC. He is also a science fiction author, best known for his novel, Legendarium. He also wrote several short stories set in the STAR TREK universe, including the critically acclaimed Isolation Ward 4, which made the preliminary ballot of the 2002 Nebula Awards.
Kevin lives on a working dairy farm in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains, in a farmhouse that was built in 1910 but isn’t haunted, at least as far as he can tell. He describes himself as an Ecclesiastes 1:17 man married to a Proverbs 31 woman.
